6 Green

This is the 6th green area.  The trees in the back were shading the green into the afternoon, causing thinning turf and moist soil conditions.

We removed 6 trees total.  This was much needed and made a drastic difference to a great hole.

Hole 12 Green Irrigation Project

The 12th green had a block irrigation set-up.  Which would only allow us to run all irrigation heads at the same time.  There were 5 green heads and 0 perimeter heads.  The green bank would burn out very quickly in hot weather because it faces south.  We now have 5 green heads ( which run individually)  4 perimeter heads and 2 rough heads.  I'm excited to see what a difference this will make on a challenging golf hole.
