Before last weekends big snow storm, the crew was able to complete 5 White, 6 Yellow and 9 blue and white tees. The boys from Town and Country Landscape out of Rogers had the tees leveled in a couple days. After number 9 was complete, we put in new irrigation lines and heads. This will be a big improvement from the old block system on 9. 6 yellow tee is pretty small in size, but will allow players with an easier shot from the new tee. 5 white was only leveled, and will be played as the same yardage.
On Monday the 11th we had 900 rolls of sod delivered and our crew of 10 had the sod laid just before the end of the day. And on Tuesday we stripped the remainder of our Bent nursery ( about 4000sq. ft.) and sodded all of the teeing surfaces. This process is a lot more work but the tees will be playable very early in the season. If we had seeded these areas they would not be playable for weeks.
