Just like the fall colors, the course has seen and will see some changes this late fall. As all of you have noticed the trees between 1 green and 11 blue tee have all been removed. Like 6 green, 1 green would not receive sufficient sunlight until later in the day. The shade and restricted airflow had a VERY negative effect on the turf. A USGA Agronomist was here to visit in early September and this project was viewed has high priority. It takes a little getting used to, but after the project is complete I believe it will look great. I also think if a new tee box for the blue tees was constructed around 225 yards, it would be one of the best par 3's in the state.
